We serve as an intermediary between travelers and third-party service providers, including airlines, hotels, car rental companies, cruise lines, and tour operators. Please note that we do not directly supply any travel products or services offered on this website.

2. ELIGIBILITY

To utilize this Website and make reservations, you must:

  • Be lawfully capable of entering into a binding contract;
  • Offer accurate, complete, and truthful information; and
  • Comply with all applicable laws and rules.

  • Not attempt to circumvent or interfere with the website's security or operations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials, if applicable.

Failure to adhere to these obligations may result in immediate account suspension, cancellation of bookings, and potential legal action.

4. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

4.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation email from Farehutz.ca that includes a booking reference number. Please note that submitting a booking request does not guarantee availability, pricing, or confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

4.2 Pricing

  • All prices are exhibited in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are not guaranteed until payment is received in full and a confirmation is issued.
  • Prices may vary at any time due to airline or supplier fare variations, availability, demand, currency fluctuations, or technical reasons.
  • Farehutz.ca may impose a service fee in addition to the base fare, which will be disclosed before checkout. Service fees are non-refundable.

4.3 Payment

  • We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
  • All transactions are handled through secure and encrypted payment gateways.
  • Please note that Farehutz.ca does not retain complete payment card information on its servers.
  • By finalizing your booking, you permit us to charge the full amount to your selected payment method.
  • If your payment fails, your booking will remain unconfirmed.

4.4 Pricing Errors

We strive to provide accurate pricing. However, in the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to:

  • Cancel your booking and issue a full refund of all amounts paid to Farehutz.ca, or
  • Offer you the option to proceed with your booking at the corrected price.

This policy applies even after a booking has been confirmed, and we will notify you promptly of any changes. Farehutz.ca is not liable for any costs or losses resulting from a pricing error or the subsequent cancellation of a booking.

5. CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, AND REFUNDS

5.1 General

Cancellation and refund eligibility are determined by the fare rules and policies of the service provider at the time of booking. Please note that Farehutz.ca's service fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. It is important to carefully review all fare rules, restrictions, and cancellation policies before finalizing your booking.

5.2 Cancellation by You

  • Refundable bookings that are canceled within the permitted timeframe may be eligible for a full or partial refund, minus any applicable penalties and Farehutz.ca's service fee.
  • Non-refundable bookings are not eligible for a refund upon cancellation.
  • To cancel a booking, please contact us at support@farehutz.ca or +1-888-629-5559 and provide your booking reference number.

5.3 Changes to Bookings

Any modifications to a confirmed booking—such as changes to the date, name corrections, changes to the routing, or upgrades—are subject to the service provider's amendment policy. These changes may result in:

  • Change fees charged by the airline, hotel, or supplier
  • A fare difference that you may have to pay
  • An administrative handling fee charged by Farehutz.ca

Please note that name changes are subject to the policies of the airline and supplier and may not be permitted. Farehutz.ca cannot guarantee that any requested changes will be available or executed.

5.4 Cancellation by Farehutz.ca

We reserve the right to cancel any booking for reasons including, but not limited to, pricing errors, fraud, non-payment, or cancellations by suppliers. In such cases, we will provide a full refund of any amounts we have received. Farehutz.ca is not responsible for any additional costs or losses that may result from these cancellations.

5.5 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method. The timeline for refunds varies depending on the supplier and your financial institution, and may take between 7 to 30 business days. Farehutz.ca is not accountable for delays caused by third-party processors or financial institutions.

6. NO-SHOW POLICY

If you do not use a booked service without canceling in advance, the service provider may classify this as a "no-show." As a result, you may lose the entire amount of your booking. Please note that no-show policies differ among airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and cruise lines. Farehutz.ca is not responsible for any amounts lost due to no-shows.

7. FLIGHT BOOKINGS

  • All flights are governed by the airline's Conditions of Carriage, which serve as the contract between you and the airline. Farehutz.ca is not involved in this contract.
  • It is your responsibility to check in within the timeframe specified by the airline and to arrive at the departure gate with ample time for boarding.
  • Baggage allowances, fees for excess or oversized luggage, and carry-on restrictions are set exclusively by the airline.
  • In the event of flight delays, cancellations, or disruptions, your rights are determined by the airline and the Air Passenger Protection Regulations (APPR).
  • Some itineraries may include codeshare or interline flights operated by carriers other than the one that issued your ticket, and different policies may apply in such situations.
  • Farehutz.ca is not liable for missed flights, denied boarding, or any flight disruptions.

8. HOTEL BOOKINGS

  • Cancellation and amendment policies for hotels differ by property and rate type, and you will be informed of these policies at the time of booking.
  • Please note that non-refundable hotel rates cannot be canceled or changed for any reason and will not qualify for a refund.
  • Each property determines its own standard check-in and check-out times. Requests for early check-in or late check-out depend on availability and may incur additional fees.
  • Room descriptions and images are supplied by the hotels for general reference purposes only, and actual room configurations may differ.
  • Some properties may impose mandatory fees (like resort fees or destination fees) that you will need to pay directly to the hotel. These fees are not included in the rates shown on our website, and you are responsible for covering all such charges.
  • Farehutz.ca does not accept liability for the quality, condition, or appropriateness of any property.

9. CAR RENTAL BOOKINGS

9.1 Driver Requirements

  • The lead driver must possess a valid driver's license issued in their country or province of residence.
  • Minimum age requirements for drivers vary depending on the rental company and the destination. Drivers under the age of 25 may incur a Young Driver Surcharge.
  • In some locations, an International Driving Permit (IDP) may be necessary. It is your responsibility to check and verify any specific requirements.

9.2 Credit Card and Deposit

  • A valid credit card in the name of the lead driver is required for a security deposit or pre-authorization at the time of vehicle collection. Please note that prepaid or debit cards may not be accepted.
  • If you do not present an acceptable credit card, your rental may be refused, and you will not receive a refund.

9.3 Rental Agreement

The rental agreement from the company outlines the terms of rental. Farehutz.ca is not involved in this agreement. Please read it carefully before you sign.

9.4 Insurance

  • Basic third-party liability insurance can be included as required by local law.
  • Additional coverage (CDW, SCDW, theft protection, personal accident insurance) is available at an extra cost and is governed by the terms of the particular rental company.
  • Some exclusions include tyres, windscreens, roof, undercarriage, and driving under the influence.
  • Farehutz.ca suggests buying comprehensive coverage or travel insurance.

9.5 Fuel Policy

Fuel policies are subject to variations by supplier (full-to-full, full-to-empty). The applicable policy will be communicated during booking. Non-compliance can result in refuelling charges at rates above the market.

9.6 Permitted Use

Vehicles must be operated in compliance with all relevant traffic laws. Off-road use, driving in unauthorized countries, or acting in violation of the rental agreement is strictly prohibited and may void insurance coverage.

9.7 Accidents and Incidents

If you encounter an accident, theft, or breakdown, it is essential to promptly inform the rental company and, if required, the local authorities. Make sure to adhere to all procedures detailed in the rental agreement. Neglecting to report an incident may invalidate your coverage and make you fully responsible for any associated costs.

10 VACATION PACKAGES

  • Vacation packages may consist of flights, accommodations, car rentals, transfers, and activities bundled together at a single price.
  • Once a package is booked, its individual components cannot be separated or adjusted in price. Any cancellations or changes to the package could impact all components simultaneously. Keep in mind that fees and restrictions for each component apply independently.
  • Farehutz.ca is not liable for the performance of any individual component provided by its respective suppliers.
  • For all-inclusive packages, what is included is determined by the resort and may change. Farehutz.ca does not guarantee the availability or quality of all-inclusive services.

11. CRUISE BOOKINGS

  • All cruise bookings are subject to the cruise line's Passenger Ticket Contract, which outlines liability, itinerary changes, conduct expectations, and passenger rights.
  • Please note that cruise itineraries may change at the discretion of the cruise line due to factors such as weather, port availability, or operational considerations.
  • Cancellation penalties for cruises increase as the departure date approaches, so it's important to review the applicable schedule carefully before making a booking.
  • Be aware that port charges, fuel supplements, and gratuities may not be included in the displayed fares and may need to be paid directly to the cruise line.
  • Cruise lines may impose health, medical, and vaccination requirements. It is your responsibility to fulfill all such requirements. If you are denied boarding due to non-compliance, you will not be entitled to a refund from Farehutz.ca.

12. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

It is your responsibility to ensure you hold all the required and valid travel documents before departure, including:

  • A valid passport with sufficient validity (six months beyond your intended stay);
  • Applicable visas, electronic travel authorizations (eTAs), or entry permits for destination and transit countries;
  • Health certificates, vaccination records, or medical documentation as required; and
  • Any other documentation required by immigration or border authorities.

Entry into any country is completely dependent on the immigration authorities of that country. Farehutz.ca is not liable for any denied boarding, visa refusals, entry denials, or deportations, and no refunds will be provided in such cases. Since travel document requirements can change, it is recommended that you confirm the current requirements with the appropriate embassy, consulate, or official government authority.

13. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Farehutz.ca strongly recommends that all users purchase comprehensive travel insurance before their trip. This insurance protects against various unforeseen events, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and travel delays.

When travel insurance is available through our website, it is provided by a licensed third-party insurer. Please note that Farehutz.ca acts solely as a facilitator and is not an insurer or underwriter. All insurance products are subject to the terms set by the issuing insurer.

We are not liable for any losses that could have been covered by adequate travel insurance.

14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

Farehutz.ca serves as a booking intermediary. We do not own, operate, or control any airlines, hotels, car rental companies, cruise lines, or other service providers available through our website. We accept no responsibility for any issues that may arise from:

  • The actions, omissions, errors, or failures of any third-party provider;
  • The quality, safety, or fitness of any third-party product or service;
  • Any disruption, cancellation, or change started by a third party; or
  • Third-party data handling or safeguard practices.

When you complete a booking, you establish a direct contractual relationship with the relevant supplier, which is governed by that supplier's own terms and conditions.

15. PAYMENT VERIFICATION AND FRAUD PREVENTION

We retain the right to request further identity verification before finalizing any transaction. If a booking is deemed potentially fraudulent, it may be canceled without notice, and website access could be limited. If your booking is canceled under this policy, we will make every effort to inform you as soon as possible.

16. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES

You agree to contact us directly at support@farehutz.ca or call +1-888-629-5559 to resolve any billing disputes before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Misusing the chargeback process, including filing fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks, is considered a serious violation of these Terms. This may result in account suspension, cancellation of bookings, and recovery of costs incurred by us, including legal fees.

17. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All material found on this website—including text, images, logos, designs, and software—is owned by Farehutz.ca or its licensors and is safeguarded by relevant copyright and trademark laws. You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, distribute, or make use of any content from this website without first obtaining written permission from us.

Our website may include links to third-party websites for your convenience. Please note that these links do not imply endorsement or affiliation. Farehutz.ca does not have control over the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site. 19. PROMO CODES AND COUPON CODES

  • Promo codes are valid only for online purchases. Some codes may be applicable only through our customer service center via phone.
  • To receive promo codes via email, sign up for our newsletter.
  • Discounts apply exclusively to Farehutz.ca's service fees, with a maximum discount of 70% off those fees.
  • Promo codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be sold or exchanged.
  • The promo code must be entered in the designated field on the payment page during the purchase process. Codes cannot be applied retroactively once a booking is completed, under any circumstances.
  • If the promo code field is not visible or the code is not accepted due to a technical issue, you have the right to cancel the purchase. No credit or discount will be applied later.
  • Promo codes cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.
  • Offers may be updated or withdrawn at any time without notice. If a code is withdrawn, it will be rejected at checkout. You may choose to proceed with the original price or abandon the purchase—no exceptions.
  • The final price displayed at checkout, whether or not a promo code is applied, is the amount that will be charged. No adjustments will be made after the purchase for any reason.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or decline any booking if a coupon error affects the transaction, even after a booking confirmation has been issued.

20 PRIVACY

If applicable law does not permit full exclusion of liability, our total liability to you for any claims will be limited to the amount you paid to Farehutz.ca for the booking associated with the claim.

We do not guarantee that the website will operate without interruption, errors, or viruses, nor do we promise it will be free from harmful components. 23. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Farehutz.ca, along with its affiliates, directors, and employees, from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or legal fees that arise from your use of this website, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

24. FORCE MAJEURE

Farehutz.ca is not responsible for any failure or delay in performance due to events outside of our reasonable control. This includes acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, acts of war or terrorism, government actions, travel restrictions, strikes, or infrastructure failures.

25. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We have the right to suspend or terminate your account and website access at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent behavior, misuse the chargeback process, or participate in any activities that jeopardize the integrity of our platform. If your account is terminated for any of these reasons, any pending bookings will be canceled without a refund.

26. AMENDMENTS

Farehutz.ca may update these Terms at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Website following any updates signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to check these Terms periodically.

27. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are regulated by the laws of the Province of Alberta as well as the federal laws of Canada. Initially, any disputes will be handled through good-faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the disputes will be referred to binding arbitration in Calgary, Alberta, in accordance with the relevant arbitration rules, unless the law specifies otherwise. You agree to the jurisdiction of Alberta's courts for any issues that may escalate to litigation

28. SEVERABILITY

If any part of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, that portion will be removed, and the remaining Terms will remain in full effect.
